Matthew started soccer today. He has been waiting for 2 months since we signed him up, honestly counting down the days...couple of meltdowns cause he thought the day had come, got ready and it wasn't the day...but today surely was and he was so ready and so excited, he ran the show this morning getting everyone ready to get out the door. It was raining, we were unsure they would play...but play they did! The team did great, it was literally like 10 to 1 in our favor. Oshyn scored I think 5, Lydia scored 1 or 2, Matthew scored 2 and a couple other kids scored as well. It was such a fun morning! Matthew is the youngest on the team, as we asked to have him moved up to the older group of 4 1/2 to 6 year olds (Matthew is 3 1/2). But the kids we knew from church that all wanted to be on the team together are all in that age group, so Park and Rec was great to move him up with those kids. Troy is coaching and is lucky to have the help of the other dads that we know.
