This is what we did! Sat around and played in our pool for 3 days! Heaven it was. Boys were all so great to each other the majority of the time and everyone just had fun. Matthew decided to skinny dip, that bathing suits were not necessary, this after taking his on and off oh a 1/2 dozen times during the day.

First Date Memory!!!

So Troy is on a 5 day guys golfing trip to SD at the moment. He just texts/emails me this picture asking if I know where it is. He happens to be in the same spot that we spent our first date. The resturant we ate at! Good times. Good memories and the amazing husband to remember the spot 5 1/2 years later! How lucky am I?

Scout Camps

Triston and Joshua went to Cub Scout Day Camp. Joshua was a Bear and Triston a Webelos. They both loved the time they spent there. Triston made a stool and cooked his own food one night over a fire they helped to start. Joshua made a toolbox and some other craft projects. Andrew went to the Boy Scouts Trail to First Class camp. He did a great job as well and enjoyed all the things he got to do as a Boy Scout.

Playoff's!

After almost a full season with only 1 win, Andrew's baseball team the 'White Socks' won 3 of the their last 4 games, with one of those wins being round one in the playoffs. This is a triple that Andrew hit during the playoff game!

Andrew pitched the 5th and 6th innings of the first playoff game. His first inning he knocked them down, think only 4 maybe 5 players got up. He struck two out and held them to no runs! The second inning was a little rough. At the beginning of the inning the score was 17 to 9. It ended the game at 17 to 12 by a double play from Conner, in left field to the second baseman! Was an exciting game. Little nerve racking for us parents to feel the pressure Andrew had on him at that point!

Triston had his 4th grade field trip up in the hills in Coloma to pan for gold. 4th grade in California all the kids learn about CA history...gold mining is a huge part of that! So off he went. Troy went with him as well for an enjoyable 2 hour bus ride and day spent with the 4th grade kids!! All the kids had fun...Triston enjoyed it so much, he needed a nap on the ride back! (Even though he claims he did not fall asleep!!)

Andrew's 11th Birthday

June 3, 2009 our oldest turned 11!! Happy Birthday Andrew. We are so proud of you for who you are and all that you do. We are so happy you are a part of our family! We had a party on Friday night the 5th. The Webbs, Burrows and Kelly's came over for a good bbq'd polish dog and cake. Kids all swam and the grown ups enjoyed some good talk. Thanks for great friends to help us celebrate our kids special days.

Matthew's final soccer game was Saturday, June 6, 2009! He scored two goals, played great and got a trophy afterwards, which he slept with that night!! It was such a fun thing to watch him each week. He did so great. But as soon as it was over, he was thinking 'baseball' as he knows t-ball is his next sport. We even went to Target this week to look at toys for bday ideas and he wanted to look at the baseball stuff and bats!!! He is one amazing child!

We have Part 1 and Part 2 because Andrew and Joshua go to one elementary school on one type of schedule and Triston goes to another elementary school on another type of schedule. At some point in life, we hope they all are in one school TOGETHER with one schedule! But for now...this is the last day of school for Andrew and Joshua, May 29, 2009. Triston's last day is June 11th and I'll post that as Part 2!

BOY Scouts here we come!!

Andrew received the highest rank in Cub Scouting on May 28, 2009 - Arrow of Light. He finished all requirements and has successfully now passed on to Boy Scouting. Great job Andrew!
