"Miss Spicy"

What a face

Finger painting with yogurt! It is the artist in her blood!!!

How could you not adore this?

So we still love and adore our 'miss miss'...she still takes the show around here most days. She did turn two and the light swiched to spicy. This is just an example of the daily messes I walk into and happily/cheerfully clean up, as Kamdyn proudly tells me she made a 'mess'!!

Anything Sweeter Possible?

Troy makes fun of me for taking so many pictures of her sleeping. But honestly is there anything more wonderful than a newborn sleeping? No newborn asleep cannot be beautifully sweet. So here are some of my favorite.

Kali

Joshua and Matthew's new room

So with Andrew and Triston out of the room, Josh and Matthew now have the room to themselves. We are still working on it, but here it is so far. So much more space. They enjoy playing in their rooms. House honestly seems more quiet since we made these changes.

Completed room!

One dresser and one desk!
Beds and one desk!

Closet!!
Used the left over paint from our house and the boys dressers and bunk beds from before. Got an incredible deal on the carpet from a remants place. They each got a new desk and a book shelf that they share. Troy also made them a 'closet' from their hanging clothes! Turned out great if we do say so ourselves!
Oh and they each got to pick a poster! Triston chose the "Joker" and Andrew "Green Day".

Remodel

DEMO!!! All the kids got turns to hammer the walls. Even Kamdyn!
DEMOing the carpet.

Cleaning up the demo mess!

Texturing!!! Who needs experience when you have Troy! He can do just about anything!

Finished texture...before paint!
So Troy got the great idea to start a remodel project about a week before Kali was to arrive!!! Maybe it was two weeks before. A project we have discussed for quite a few months maybe even years now. But one day I came home from grocery shopping in the evening I think it was to the room in the garage completely empty...he'd taken down everything and put it in the other part of the garage...so the project began! Next was to demo the bed/closet that his dad had made years ago, take down wallpaper (boy did we curse that day), remove carpet, fix the walls from the removal of the bed, texture the walls, paint, put new carpet in and move the two biggest boys (aka: Andrew and Triston) out to their new room! Just a quick, small project. Well I can say that at 4 1/2 weeks of Kali's little life the boys moved in! Amazingly so, the project is finished!!!

Last "Firsts"

First time asleep on her belly....shhh! Don't tell the doctors!!
Watching football with Daddy!

Her first bath in the tub...night #2 at home!
We previously thought we had done a number of 'lasts' with Kamdyn...well Kali really is our last so we will again truely enjoy some of those 'firsts' for the last time!!

First Night Home

We came home in less than 48 hours...a very exciting, unexpected suprise for all of us. Kali and I did great and it was sure nice to be home with the rest of our family. We were definately lonely all alone in the hospital.

Brothers and Sister

Everyone gets a turn to hold the newest little sister.
