We were in Carlsbad at Grandpa and Grandma Johnson's house for Matthew's birthday this year. Was fun to have other family there to celebrate with us. He wanted everything skateboard, so was his cake and his main gift...a new skateboard...which since was left by him in the street and got run over by Dad breaking off one of the ends. Matthew's only comment was "I can still ride it like this, it's ok." No big lesson learned by him, but a great one for us as his parents...definately a glass half full kid!!! How lucky are we! We all love Matthew. Such a fun little boy, child and brother.
